About Me
Tem MUUUUITO mais sobre mim na sessão de interesses, e eu tô com extrema preguiça de escrever muito aqui, então tudo que vou dizer é que sou só um escritor/músico viajante que quer conhecer um mundo muito maior que a própria imaginação.
There's a LOOOOT more about in the interest's session, and I'm feeling extremely lazy to feel this up correctly, so all I'm going to say is that I'm but a wandering writer/musician in hopes of meeting a world much bigger than imagination itself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In a first moment, I'm here to be sheltered by strangers so that I can travel and meet new people along the way, I am really not looking for love around here, I already found it (and I got a bit sad having to explain people here I'm not looking for this, but, c'est la vie), and who knows, in the future, I may go from couchsurfer to host.
Interests
Above all things, I have a thing for words, my ex used to say "you love through words", and I believe she was right, I read people as poems, some people feel winter, some people feel summer, I love summer but my heart is wintry, my English isn't half as rich as my Portuguese, so I rarely venture into writing seriously in this language, but who knows, maybe one day.
I love learning people, as I believe that people ought to be learnt rather than known.
I took a liking in Chess, I'm not particularly good, but when you consider the world has over 7 billion people, I can say I'm above average.
I'm not particularly fond of virtual games, but... there's Undertale, and that, for me, isn't a game, that is a life lesson and a storytelling lesson, that game made me laugh and cry and believe in a better world for all of us, I recommend it.
I love singing, but I suck at it, for now, I'm a tenor, so my voice is particularly loud and high-pitched.
Most people are interested in traveling because of the places, I'm interested in traveling because of the people, if I can't make new friends, I don't want to be traveling at all, and at the same time, as much as I'm capable of being an extrovert, my heart hums the introvert's hymn, and most of times I just really need to be alone, so, being alone is an interest
I bet I told this before, but I wrote a book, so writing is one of my biggest interests.
- literature
- cooking
- cartoons

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a sucker for books, as you've probably read, I'm a writer, but there are three books that really changed my life for unfathomable ways, so vast and wonderful I can't even begin to explain.
1 - The Name of The Wind - despite of being a fiction book, it made me bold in real life, it was also the book that got me into University, since I applied the same strategy as Kvothe, from the book, I re-read this one every two years, along with its sucessor, Wise Man's Fear, masterpieces, both of them.
2 - I Am The Messenger - This book, I read it about five times already, and I'd read it again, because this book is so beautiful, so powerful and... despite of it being about a fiction character, it taught me so much about real life, and how, regardless of how poorly we think of ourselves, all of us could become a messenger, or a message, it also has foul language turned into poetry, so there's no way I won't love this book forever.
3 - Harry Potter saga - it got me into writing, enough said.
Broadway is my go to music, currently in love with Hamilton and In The Heights, because Lin Manuel Miranda is bae, but I love nearly every kind of music, except for country styles, they just don't suit me that well, nor rave music. I used to study classic piano so and love Queen so... I'm just rambling at this point. OH, I also love French music, and Shakira, she's not French, but she's perfection.
The only movie worth mentioning along my favorites, besides the Disney ones, are The Peaceful Warrior and Cloud Atlas, brilliant movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've finished my first novel after 8 years of working in oddjobs and studying at Uni, and I'm fairly proud of the book.
I presented live for over a 1000 people and to this day I haven't got the slightest idea of how I didn't faint in the middle of it, but I do remember my feet and hands shaking, it was awesome, 10/10 would do it again.
I was admitted into Music Composition at Unicamp by improvising music, and I confess that I lied to the people evaluating me, I told them I was stolen and lost all of my sheets, in reality, I didn't have any, I can't write music, I can only improvise it, and I improvised it to them, and they let me in.
I dated an American/Colombian girl who lived 6000 miles away from me, which puts her in Minnesota while I'm at the state of São Paulo, Brazil, no wander I love traveling so much :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I literally taught English for a living in the past, so that I can teach for sure, along with piano, writing (only in Portuguese though, my English is fairly good but it lacks the poetry that comes so naturally to me in Portuguese)
and some more exoteric things like talking to every bit of your body so that you can understand yourself better.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook! Seriously I can cook real good! If they have a piano or a keyboard I can play it for them and even teach them a thing or two! I can share life stories, and I can serve as their psychologist (I'm training for that, for real), show that bliss and learning are everywhere, and most importantly, I can hear them.
