About Me

I left home in september 2015 to backpack through South America and Mexico, and travel for the first time in my life. I visited seven countries and met many people, stayed at hostels, hotels, campings, national parks, road motels, friends' homes, couchsurfing hosts' and even slept on cardboard next to a toll road... And it's been awesome! I love traveling, meeting people, chatting for hours about the meaning of life, love, the higher self, the universal truth and anything spiritual, philosophical, historical and political, and playing music ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What you learn by staying at someone's can't be compared to what you feel when you stay at a hotel. I've done this for a year as i travelled through South America and it was a blast, i met many friends and i loved the experience. Now i'm settled for a while and i'd like to give back a bit of what i got. When you stay or host you are sowing fraternity seeds between people from different places, cultures and feelings, and you make friends in every corner you visit, what else could you ask for, right?

Interests

I like philosophy, letters (aka literature), design, music, and art as a way to sublimate everything i love and i am. I like reading, going to museums and parks, camping, staring at the sky be it night or day (but i adore the stars!), drawing, writing, riding a bike, singing, dancing and making music. I also love cooking and eating, sharing recipes, chatting over a beer or a glass of wine and watching a good movie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like alternative rock, post rock, psychedelic, pop, folklore and folk, classical music. I'm quite in love with Warpaint.

Writers, poets / Escritores, poetas:
Bioy Casares, Borges, Cortázar, Idea Vilariño, Vicente Huidobro, García Lorca.

Movies / Películas:
Amost everything from Studio Ghibli, The Hours, The Wall, Star Wars, Before Sunrise, Midnight in Paris, Les Revenants, Twin Peaks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The five day hike to Choquequirao ruins in Perú all by myself without horses or help of any kind, just me and my backpack, i couldn't believe myself i was doing it, so i am really proud. Another amazing thing was to cross the border between Argentina and Chile through Paso de Jama, on a lorry, hitch-hiking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cook and make up my own recipes, so maybe we can exchange some, try new flavours and have fun making some mess in the kitchen! We can draw, sing, chat, practice english or spanish, and i would also like to learn a new language ;)
I love music so we can share and learn about each other's likes, there's so much in the world, i guess we'll never stop finding new cool bands and stuff!

Quisiera aprender algún idioma, puedo ayudarte a practicar tu inglés o español.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Long talks about anything or maybe just silence, the history of my country, food, recipes, songs, walks, music, my oatmeal raisin cookies or my vegan chocolate muffins!
