About Me
Best things in life are free.
... so true!
I am Renata, currently working as a creative concept developer for a fashion brand in China and am willing to explore nearby areas in Asia.
A deep curiosity and respect for Asian culture has led me to accept a job offer here in order to see other sides of the world. There is a certain level of itchiness inside my veins as I am always on the go to explore exciting cultures and mindsets, the profession I am doing now thankfully enables me to work and travel, everyday I feel grateful for this, so this is a good start for the day :-)
I am not particularly religious, I accept all of them though and love to discuss, talk about different practices. The closes religious practice that maybe stands very close to me is Buddhism since listing to Ajhan Brahm's spiritual guidance online. My bucket list has his name written on!
Briefly about my childhood. I was brought up in Hungary, actively participated in the family's wine business since age 5- yes, we had to work on the field! The much choir it caused then, the much I appreciate it now. Love being in nature, planting, and fresh air.
Later on I moved to England when I was lucky to be involved in the first wave of Eco contious fashion design as our university, London College of Fashion where I recently grauadted.
At uni I learnt not only to help nature but also contribute to the improvement of others, which the other great passion of mine: to see other's development.
Since I have been around a few places, I learnt to speak English, very very little Chinese and intermediate german, along with my mother tounge, Hungarian.
Very keen to teach languages, do outdoor and indoor work, activities, fussiness has been out of my life for a long time and been replaced by chill, helpful, friendly and respectful vibes. Flexibility is my key strength.
Now, I decided to continue my journey outside China and leave the fashion industry behind for a few months and explore the silence of mind as well as the power of helping others in Thailand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was being hosted before but it is time for me to host people in London, and I am very keen to see and share people's journeys.
I spent 3 months in America and now off to Hungary and Italy, but will be returning to the City on the 7th of August and I am very happy to host couchsurfers towards the end of August once I had a stable place. It will more than likely be a living room but will try to do my best to create a warm environment.
COUCHSURFERS please note.
I am utmost happy to host, but I would love to give you freedom to do whatever you want in my home, you choose your activities, I would more than likely be working on my projects and would not be able to join your trips majority of the time, although I can help you with directions.
