About Me

I am a brazilian girl, I study International Relations, and I really love meeting new places and cultures! I am living in Bilbao since january to study at the University of Deusto, and I will stay untill july, so I really want to know Europe the most I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a student, so I try so save money during my trips, but mainly because sometimes I travel alone, so it's a good way to find some company in the cities I go by myself. Besides, I think the best way to know the greater tips about somewhere, like where to go and what to eat, and the elements of some city's culture is living with an area resident.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies, I am pretty ecletic, but my favorites era the drama ones, like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Bitter Moon, Loving Vincent, La vita è bella, The Black Swan, and Cidade de Deus. For books, my favorite ones are romances and brazilian classics, like Madame Bovary, Dom Casmurro, and O Cortiço. My favorite music types are also brazilian, like MPB, funk, and sertanejo, but I also enjoy international music, mainly pop and rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one life changing experience I had was living in Thailand for two months on the country area with local people, teaching english to teenagers. My actual experience living and studying in Bilbao, and traveling a lot has been amazing as well, since I have made some really special friends and have seen some real beautiful places. My life in Brazil is another great thing, because I live in a sorority with my best friends, and we have a lot of fun together. All of this made me grow a lot as a person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show some of main brazilian cultural aspects, and also I like to talk about a lot of different subjects, or share travelling tips of places I had already been. Besides, as I study international relations, I usually like to talk about the redident's feelings and opinions about their countrie's political scenario, and other cultural opinions.
