Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will try to help whenever and where ever I can. Since I live in a 원룸텔 one-room-tel (similar to a 고시원 goshiwon), I'm not in the position to host you, but whenever I have some free time it'll be my pleasure to have a coffee or meal with you or show you around in Seoul :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed people's couch a few times here in Korea and one particular experience led to a close friendship. This girl didn't only provide me a couch, but also showed me many beautiful places in Busan and we've had endless conversations about everything. Absolutely fantastic!!

Also I've participated a few times in dinners or other events here in Seoul and met great people there and with some of them I still keep in touch nowadays. If you want to meet new people and are interested in other people's lives, I definitely recommend you to go to one of these events!

Interests

Cats, shopping, skating, (lunch/dinner/shop/chat) dates with friends, workout @sportschool, playing guitar, singing, taking pictures, hiking, discovering beautiful nature/sightseeing spots.

Gathering Amsterdam '09 :D A gathering of approx 150 Korean adoptees from approx 7 different countries. Truly one of the most amazing experiences in my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really hope that my meetings with other couchsurfers will enrich our lifes... that we can teach and learn from each other and share our experiences...

I could teach you some very basic Korean, excellent Dutch, help you with your English since I am an English teacher and lovely Dutch & Korean dishes.

I would love to learn as much as possible languages and culture things. If you can teach me piano, guitar or singing you have a plus ;)

I would love to share all of our experiences with you and if possible, I also will introduce you to my friends.
