Overview
About Me
Here is Renato (35) and Laís (25), my wife. We are both Brazilians.
We are a young couple ready to explore new cultures, learn new things and meet new people.
I've worked with technology since 1998 and I've worked as Product Owner for about 1 year. My wife works with video editing for about 6 years.
We consider ourselves easygoing people, curious, open-minded, disciplined with our habits and organized.
I graduated in Marketing and she graduated in Social Communication with focus on marketing and advertising.
Besides our interest in our field of activity, we have interests in simplicity, non-violent communication/dialogue, sociocracy (dynamic governance), discipline positive, art, painting, etc.
We are vegan following a whole food plant based diet, which is mainly starches, vegetables, cereals, grains and fruits. We don't drink alcohol but we enjoy 4:20 moments.
We are morning people. We enjoy to meditate and do bodyweight exercises in the morning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's our first time using Couchsurfing and we'll do our best to make sure it'll be a good experience for both sides.
We'd like to visit new places and get to know new cultures. We'd also like to improve our English and we think experiencing a city like a local would be the best way.
Laís lived in Canada for about 9 months between 2015 and 2016 so she feels more comfortable speaking in English but I feel anxious and I'd like to improve speaking and listening.
