About Me

I am a gentle and sensible guy, always doing the best I can do to improve the world. I am also very responsible and organized. I try to live a healthy life, taking care of what I eat, practicing exercises and sharing the best energies I have with the persons, always with love and respect. I have a regular practice of meditation and I am also interested to know more about other kinds of spiritualistic experiences. Art is in my life as a job, fun and life style. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the Couchsurfing is a great idea for all the persons who are involved. That platform makes the cultural exchange be possible and easier.

I already traveled and surfed with Couchsurfing hosts, some days in Buenos Aires, another in Berlin and also in Brazil. The people who hosted me were gentle and helped me a lot. We shared good moments together.

In Curitiba I also hosted people by Couchsurfing. One of them became a lovely friend for the whole life.

Interests

I have been studying theater and dance since I was 15 years old. Two of my firsts references was Bertolt Brecht and Pina Bausch, two german artists who I really admire. I dance ballet and contemporary dance to improve my skills, but my research is in a personal dance/dramaturgy that can involve many subjects, e.g. autobiographic stories and comedy.

I practice meditation and I like to read about it also. Some names I follow are Paramahansa Yogananda, Deepak Chopra, Amma Bhagavan and Krishnamurti. I also do Reiki Therapy.

I like to stay near to the nature, traveling to the beach or to the country side as much as can. I like to see great views, to breath fresh air and to stay in silence sometimes. For me these moments make me feel more connected with myself and consequently with the other. These moments help me to be grateful and feel fine.

I love culinary! I think that is a beautiful subject to meet people and share culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to music when I cook or clean the house! I like to hear popular brazilian music, jazz, samba, pop, blues, classical. It depends the mood. I like also go to listen to concerts or go out to dance in clubs.

Some titles I can remember now are "Call me by you name", "La Danza de la Realidad", "Magnolia", "Thelma and Louise", "Interestelar", "Aquarius", "Inland Impire" and other directors names like Miranda July, Pedro Almodovar, Wim Wenders, Woody Allen... I also like to watch family movies, like Pixar... Documentaries.. Series..

Some books I like the most:

"Quando Teresa Brigou com Deus" - Alejandro Jodorowski
"Cien Años de Soledad" - Gabriel García Márquez
"Autobiography of a Yogi" - Paramahansa Yogananda
"A paixão segundo G.H." - Clarice Lispector
"O jogo da Amarelinha" Júlio Cortazar

and all the Harry Potter books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe we can do, or live, incredible things any moment, just being ourselves and feeling the connections around and inside. I think helping the other persons is a great thing... Some times giving a hug, a friendly word is already something incredible, teaching a new thing....

BUT if I needed to choose one thing... I did analysis with a Lacan-Freud psychoanalyst. And I learned a lot with it.

:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I think the life is a great opportunity to learn how to be better, how to accept ourselves and how to change if necessary. And the opportunity to meet other people and share things or moments, even the small or fast ones, could result in great experiences to remember and to grow up as a lovely human beings.
