ABOUT ME

Well, I was born and grew up in Recife, I lived in Petrolina when a child for 2 years, and after school I decided to study Environmental Engineering in Sao Carlos, in Sao Paulo State. I am really fascinated with everything related to the environment, that´s why I love my study. I´d like to specialize in Urban planning. No more talking about study, what I really like to do is travel to isolated places, with an outstanding scenery or a huge cultural background.

Usually I cycle everywhere I need to go, and in the weekends I try to make some trails trough any nearby forests.
I am an eager reader of subjects related to politics, economy and social movements.

I cant live without music, if there is no music I sing, if I cant sing with my mouth, I sing in my head, and if I hear anything vaguely harmonic, it inspires me to create a melody.
I consider myself an easy-going person, ready to give my best if the intention is have fun and participate in any kind of pursuit. I am not exigent with food, but I do like to cook, specially with lots of people.

Atention: I dont have a good memory for names and numbers, but I´ll remember you if I ever get to see you on the street and later on we accidentally meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience yet in couchsurfing, but I already felt how good is to have people that you never seen before coming to your house and sharing a meal and latter on some drinks, so that by the end of the night it seems you are all close friends.

Interests

Cooking, gardening, watching the results of your own effort grow and then, collect the crops to cook once again. Different cultures, ideas, ideals collectively cultivated, far away from civilization places, civilizations far away from urban chaos, quietly observe little details, eyes crossing, laughs, natural sceneries, photographing, photographing emotions, impressions, sugestions, interactions. Water, wether it is in a glass, in a lake, in a river or on the ocean. Climb Mountains, camp. Walk/ride without any planning in unknown places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: It wont fit here but some are: mombojó, chico science, chico cesar, zeca baleiro, lenine, sigur rós, jazz, blues, matisyahu, bob dylan, bob marley, jamiroquai, camille, tryo, led zepellin, cake.

Movies: there are many, the rule is: make me laugh and/or show me some interesting/intriguing/deep story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have realized that we are not individuals independent from each other and from everything surrounding us. Look anywhere, an ant, a bird, a bee, a flower, a fruit, a forest, a river, a mountain and a person, there is movement, energy, aspirations, emotions, toughts, interactions that creates, propagates and promotes life.

Teach, Learn, Share

What about learning together? I am eager to learn about everything, if I can teach anything, well, just tell me the issue and we`ll see what can be done. If there is nothing I can help, well, we´ll drink some beers or wine and shoot the breeze.
