Overview
About Me
Peruvian. Consultant in value chains and sustainability. After being 30 years in Peru, started an academic Europe-Southern African trip. Now anchored in Gent. Adore knowing new cultures, people, languages, and gastronomy expressions. Going into the wild, exploring new landscapes and nature = pills for the soul. I enjoy getting lost in the streets without any program/agenda (everyone who wants to join, welcome :) ). I feel like this is a time of my life I need to discover another part of myself, a more artistic one. Pandemic has made me valuing every minute in life and also learn new things: Cooking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Indeed, I like to travel but, more than that,...living in a new place and feeling the experience of being inserted in such a new society. Therefore, new local friends or foreigners who are already living in such new place would be really helpful

Music, Movies, and Books
Lately, I am really into rock reggae and blues ... but musical trends on me change from time to time
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel by bus in South America. Working in restoration/construction and the Cirque du Soleil in the past...Learning Portuguese and Italian (the latter still on it..). To visit and work with rural communities in Peru and Mozambique.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach Spanish and some Peruvian gastronomy. Or even exchanging ideas/thoughts in my prof. field (rural development, value chains, biotrade...). I´d love to learn new languages, gastronomy expressions, how to play musical instruments or even martial arts XD
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good talking with an amazing coffee, some Peruvian gastronomy, and any plan (going for hiking, party, meeting with friends, ...).
