Overview
About Me
Living between France and the United Kingdom most of my life always leaves me wondering whether I am more French or British. Not that it ultimately matters in the end.
I'm happy I'm able to work in an international environment so as not to loose touch with the duality of my origins.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotel rooms can be nice but the point of travelling, whether for business and personal is to meet new and interesting people. Couchsurfing is great for this purpose.
Interests
- Travelling
- Playing the guitar
- Meeting new people
- The crazy world of entrepreneurship and startups
Music, Movies, and Books
Blade Runner comes across as my favourite movie. The movie bombed at the box-office at the time because it spat in the face of most storytelling conventions. Roy's Baty's "Tears in Rain" monologue is one of cinema's most touching moment, as well as a sure way to loose 90% of the audience. Plus let's face it, neon umbrellas where and still are insanely cool.
Book would have to be the Great Gatsby.
Music would be a weird split betwen baroque music and heavy metal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recorded a heavy-metal version of Ravel's Bolero. It was bombastic but I'm happy the taste squad let me get away with it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always eager to discover new things. As long as it's not a new Eric Clapton record. That is a no-no.
