About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling abroad in April/May 2010, no couch available before June, sorry :)
ABOUT ME
I'm a French guy who lives and works in Budapest since October 2008. Before that, I spent 8 years in crazy Paris, welcomed a lot of CSers :) and travelled a lot in Europe.
I'm now enjoying this nice city, with my charming wife, and life is going pretty well :). Visit us if you don't know Budapest, you'll understand!
As far as work is concerned, I'm basically an IT engineer turned into a web-and-more "worker" (and willing to become a freelancer). Time will tell! :)
PHILOSOPHY
1- Never forget your big trekking bag, it's your best friend for every trip. It will carry your sleeping bag, that's your second best friend.
2- Never plan too much. Go on and take it easy, life will drive you.
3- Always keep a bootle of red wine in one of your bag's pockets, it may save you if you don't speak your host's language ;).
4- ALWAYS eat all the food one gives you, that's the best way to discover a country!
5- Never forget what a lucky bastard you are to travel and meet with people. Never complain, even if you took a bus going 40km/h in the very countryside of Belarus, taking 12h to cover 380km, and breaking down just before the end, at 3.00am, in the middle of nowhere...
6- Never thank God, he has nothing to do with your business, but say a hundred times "thanks!" to this old and dirty guy who gave you a lift for 15 minutes when it was -15°C...
