Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a very full scheduled person and therefore find it difficult to spend a lot of time with any couchsufers. If I have enough time I like showing people around the nice parts of the Zurich telling them a bit of the history of the city and a bit of Switzerland.
Otherwise I am happy to show people a bit of my life - come to me to free live concerts, meet up with friends, join dinner parties, go out and dance, go climbing or any outdoor activities together.
So if the couch-surfer is interested in anything I do - then he is very welcome to join in my fully planned schedule.
If you have your own plans of what you want to do in the city, then I'd be glad to answer any questions and help you finding what you want and maybe also join you ;)!

When I travel instead - I like to meet my host so that I get to know her/him, but I don't expect them to join me on all my endeavors. That's why when I look for people who offer a place to stay I try and look for people that might have similar interests.
On the other hand my host is busy, but I'm offered a place to sleep, I try and make the best of the situation - for example trying to make my stay no hassle for my host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had three couch-surfing experiences until now and all of them were great. Two of the 3 host I consider friends and I would gladly see them again sometime in the future. I think it's a great way to travel and that's why it's so important that we keep the community honest and secure.
For my part I believe in being myself and very importantly being straightforward, honest and trustworthy.

Interests

I teach sports at a trade school and work for a health promotion and accident prevention company. I'm currently finishing my teaching degree in sports.
I love lots of kinds of music and enjoy very much life concerts and festivals, being around people and being active.
I spend a lot of time doing sports like, climbing, ball-sports, dancing (salsa, dancehall, jazz, ....), outdoors sport, functional training and I love to meet other people around the globe who share the same interests and with whom I can share experiences.
