About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Share the love, be happy, and most importantly.. share your couch!

ABOUT ME

I'm just a guy trying to see as much of this beautiful planet as possible. Gotta do it while you're young, open to new experiences and your brain is still malleable!

UPHILOSOPHY

Exploring new places and experiencing how other people live in the world is so exciting and rewarding, and it also expands your mind and makes you a more empathetic person. I am always up for trying something new and I love meeting interesting people! Show me how you live, I'd love to hear your story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think this site is so cool because it brings the human element back into traveling. When I have my own place I host travelers, when traveling "sometimes we visit your country and live in your home"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met many amazing people hosting at Folly Beach. I've also had great experiences surfing couches in Mexico, Indonesia and Costa Rica.

Interests

Nature, music, almost all outdoor activities, learning, loving, and cooking mean curries

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list so I'll give you my favorite at this exact moment...
Song: Sweet Thang by Shuggie Otis
Movie: 180° South
Book: Shantaram

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Motorcycle trip across all of Vietnam, oops turned out it was Monsoon season
-Healed of my evil spirits(dengue fever) by a shaman in a remote Indonesian jungle
-Lost 10 pounds on a 325km hike in the Sierra Nevada's JMT
-Slid down a glacier on my butt in Mongolia into Russia

Teach, Learn, Share

Every atom you possess has almost certainly passed through several stars and been part of millions of organisms on its way to becoming you. We are each so atomically numerous and so vigorously recycled at death that a significant number of our atoms – up to a billion for each of us, it has been suggested – probably once belonged to Shakespeare.

A billion more each came from Buddha and Genghis Khan and Beethoven, and any other historical figure you care to name.

So we are all reincarnations – though short-lived ones. When we die our atoms will disassemble and move off to find new uses elsewhere – as part of a leaf or other human being or drop of dew.
-Bill Bryson
