ABOUT ME

I am free spirited, love the outdoors,love knowledge, I want to have life to the fullest...I am horrible at talking about myself... :-)
At this current phase of my life my goal is to learn to love Christ and people more completely and less selfishly - a very broad goal but I have no idea what tomorrow holds so being flexible is quite necessary.

PHILOSOPHY

A generic title for what I believe and act upon is this: Christian. This term has come to encompass so many different things and different kinds of people that I feel I need to give a bit more detail. I have come to believe (through both emotional aspects and logic) that Jesus is the Savior of my soul. That God is the reason behind my existence and the reason for my existence. Why I live - to glorify God in all I do, to try to live as Jesus did - helping and loving those in need. I believe that Jesus has given me guidelines on how to live, on right and wrong, but that ultimately He wants those who love Him to live a full life, to enjoy this world that He has placed us in, to try to make it a better place for those who live in it now and those kids coming behind us and by the life I lead I want to bring people into a true and loving relationship with Jesus.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now I have no participation history, hopefully this will change soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a kid in the military I learned to love new relationships, new places, traveling, learning, experiencing...Some would say I've developed a nomadic flair. I have lived in Colorado 3.5 years, but I have moved 6 times. So, my couchsurfing so far consists of new encounters with new neighbors, new work places, random aquaintances and friendly people who house me while in between moves.

Hiking, running, swinging, sitting and talking, traveling, exploring, soccer, frisbee, dancing (swing, ballroom...
I also am involved in Younglife: a ministry to kids - we try to bring Jesus into their lives and just develop relationships with them to walk through the adventure of life together.

I saw the Berlin wall right after it fell. I was living in Germany at the time.
