About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling and get to know the whole world - and myself :)

ABOUT ME

I am 26 and finishing my Master in Environmental Engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
I'm an open-minded person. Respect for other humans, animals and nature is something very important to me. However, I think my flatmates would agree with me, when saying I really like to discuss about social, political or even philosophical topics ;) ...especially, whit poeple of different opinion compared to mine.
I am spontaneous, kind and trying to enjoy life in every situation. I can get along with almost every type of people.
Most of all I appreciate to be together with other nice people, being outside somewhere in the nature and doing all kind of sports and activities - priorily climbing, running, beach volleyball and everything with water like sailing, surfing, snorkeling. Nonetheless, just lying somewhere on the beach and reading a nice book is great too :)

Interests

I love doing sports, it doesn't really matter what but my favourites are basketball, volleyball, climbing, running, hiking, sking & snowboard, snorkling and I'm always ready to try something new.
In addition, I love travelling to see some new countries, different kinds of people and amazing landscapes - especially if I can camp in the wilderness of these landscapes. The freedom one can experience when reaching the top of a mountain after a long hike and then being rewarded with an amazing view over the land to your feet.
And as everybody I like to hang out with friends, visiting bars and having nice barbecues in the summer - yes vegetarian bbq's are great :)
Although I'm playing the guitar for years by now I never reached an advanced level - but I love it anyway ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I like hiking, two very breathtaking moments were on mountains. One in norway when I stood at the edge of a cliff 600m above the sea in the fjord beneath me and one in kenya when I reached the 4985m high Pt. Lenana on Mount Kenya...at sunrise ;)

One of the best trips I ever did was when I travelled with my family, grandparents and uncles, aunts and cousins to syria to visit the places my father has lived when my gradndad worked in halab for 10 years. It was so much fun to see all this things together with the whole family...of course this was before this horrible war.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live with my flatmates in a nice apartment in Stuttgart. A friend of mine, whom I know since we went to school already is one of my flatmates, the other is a young young woman from ecuador doing her masters here in Stuttgart (we met in an arabic language course). We're living together for more than one year by now and come along very well. Since we've got a quite big living room, I can offer a couch - so real couchsurfing here ;). This works quite well and is frequently used by friends from all of us.
