About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live as if there was no tomorrow, to experience the world through different eyes as many times as I can, to die with a smile on my face knowing Ive truely lived and experienced the world for all that it is, to make the most of the now that i have
ABOUT ME
Hey hey :) Or G'day mate should i say??..haha (not that I ever actually say this but hey I'm aussie, i guess i should try...) lol
My name is Renee and I am 25 years old. Apparantly I have a strong aussie (australian) accent as many so called Europeans like to tell me...haha always telling me to slow down so to make sense of what I am saying though I really dont think i am that bad at all! haha ANyways!!! It's funny I never thought I had an accent until I came to Europe and all of a sudden people would tell me I had one! and I use australian slang more than ive ever realised since being made aware living abroad...overall though I think I speak pretty clear..:)
Anyways more about me ...I am a very ambitious, out going, happy person, always having a laugh over something silly and I am a very out going and positive person that believes in making the most of every opportunity and living each day for what it is and simply making the most of it.
I am very laid back and easy going and generally get on with anyone. I love to talk haha and i seem to always have a story :) I also love to listen and be inspired by others peeoples' stories and adventures.
Also- I love health and fitness especially running (and weights) and love the feeling of being fit...
On a more deep thinking note (haha):
I know how short life is and how circumstances can change so quickly for people hence I truely believe in making the most of Now. I have met so many people that have regrets for things they have not done or experienced in life or people that are not willing to take the risk to go new places, try new things and meet new people all becuase of the fact that they are waiting on the 'right time' (sometimes which never comes) or because they are not willing to take the risk.
I don't want to be one of those people. I want to live and live well and live an exciting life, I don't believe in placing restrictions on life and what a true meaningful life can be. I am a BIG dreamer at heart, I believe anything is possible as long as you mentally believe in yourself that you can do it and are willing to take the actions to make things happen.
I consider myself a very down to earth person with good morals and I believe you should treat people the way you wish to be treated. I love to be silly and do things at random and love random experieneces as that what makes experienecs and life most memorable. I am a confident person and I love to challange myself as we are only limited by our thoughts until we are brave enough to test them and realise thats all they are, are thoughts.
I love to learn and to be around interesting and ambitious people and people that care.
PHILOSOPHY
To truely live. To take the positive from every situation. To let no one or any situation make you bitter as you get older. To always challange yourself by what you didnt think was possible or what you are afraid of. To live like there is no tomorrow. To find appreciation in as much as you can. To meet interesting and wonderful people. To travel and expand my horizones. To learn to love and love more deeply. To have meaningful relationships. To never settle for anything less than what makes me truely happy. To not give in to other people's expectations but to live by what drives me. To always believe in the dream and not let others tell me otherwise. To also find people who believe in the dream. To be to others the best person I can be. To have a big heart and to always remain caring and inspired despite hardship. To remember there are always people worse off and to truely appreciate what I already have. To be open to learn more about others and myself and gain new and fresh perspectives. TO challange my current perspectives and goals. To be inspired by others around me. To be passionate about life. To love. To live. To be. (hahaha that last bit sounds like an ad...anyways!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By sharing mt travel stories and experiences and teaching people about Australia and our culture.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never done couch surfing before as never really heard about it in Australia. Only really heard about it since coming to Europe and speaking to Europeans who have highly recommmended the experienece. Now I am intrigued about the idea and hope to try this new experience and meet some wonderful and facinating people and places along the way :)
While I have extended by time in Denmark I will need somewhere to stay and furthermore I really want to integrate and 'feel' more of real danish culture. Hence, I would love to meet and befriend more danish people and see alot more as I feel like I have not done that much sightseeing on exchnage and not just the main attractions but that 'cute little side street, park around the corner or cool restaurant/bar unknown to me'...those sorts of things...so to meet some lovely and fun danish people would be great for coffee or hanging out or somewhere to stay :)
