I grew up in Small Town, Texas, and my first taste of travel was a year-long study abroad in Costa Rica. Since then, I've backpacked through Nicaragua, parts of Europe, Morocco, and Japan. I also spent a few months as a whitewater raft guide in eastern Tennessee. Now I’m living in San Antonio, Texas.

My most exciting adventure to date would be my midnight hike up Volcán Barú to the highest point in Panama, to see both the Caribbean and the Pacific in the light of the sunrise.
