Overview
About Me
A little about myself: I spent the majority of my adolescence sewing costumes, gardening, reading books, and playing music. The decade before that I spent collecting a profuse amount of Chapstick. I’m a rather unique person. If you'll allow me to immodest, nowadays I'm funny, intelligent, kind, friendly, considerate, caring, diligent, kind, honorable, generous, interesting, reflective, open-minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm terribly undertraveled. I'm mad to live, mad to be saved, mad to see new and exciting things, even if it's local. Getting out of my comfort zone fills me with LIFE. I'd love to make new friends with similar adventure-seeking mindsets. Traveling opens your mind and constantly reminds you of how much you have to learn, which keeps you learning and keeps you moving, which is actually the only way to stay stable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow, this profile thing really doesn't want me to be modest, huh? Well, I made a squid suit. Made a unicorn suit. Both fit great. Oh yeah, finished college, that too. Taped asparagus all over my dad's Subaru once.
Teach, Learn, Share
A writer is a teacher first and foremost. I can teach you how to write/edit, cook (I have a sharp sense of taste and smell), play guitar or ukulele, how to watch a film intelligently, how to use a sewing machine, how to crochet, speak Cantonese, how to make weird noises, how to freak people out (if you're ever in danger and want people to get away from you, it comes in handy, you know?)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a fantastic cook (full-time vegetarian, part-time vegan). I'd love to cook for you and I'm not afraid to clean up. I can even help you with your English homework as I have a BA in English Creative Writing. Always willing to help!
