Dutch, but currently living in the Carribean. I work in the field of HIV & human rights, but my days off I like to spend kitesurfing, scuba diving, long trek hiking or anything else that involves the forces of the nature :)

I believe I am an easy going person, I am interested in other people and what they have to say and belief. The last couple of years I have been on and off travelling the world. I usually travel solo, because I love picking up new friends along the way. I love to explore and immerse myself in a culture, because I am curious by nature. Simply exploring

I like hiking on vulcanos, I like diving with skarks and jumping into the with plankton enlighted sea from the balcony of a crazy bar at night. I love kiting the clear blue tropical waters untill my legs are sore with muscle acidification. I won't stop climbing up the Himalaya even when the air gets thinner.

Musica, film e libri

Shantaram, best book ever. The music is just what suits my mood at that moment. From cracky old jazz when sipping a glass of red wine, to Cuban salsa when feeling like swinging myself around, to techno at a good typical Dutch festival.
