ABOUT ME

I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. I recently completed a semester of study abroad in London including an internship. I love to travel: it's quite eye-opening, I love meeting all sorts of new people from around the world and seeing their way of life. I enjoy history, photography, film, music, and politics.

PHILOSOPHY

This is a really complicated topic for me to sum up in a small box, I assure you if we meet we'll have many deep intellectual conversations about life philosophy. I believe that the world is in deep turmoil and we need to squad up and watch each others' backs. Everything in the world, even the simplest things, are absolutely beautiful and I am proud to be a part of this universe. We are sentient but we are as much a part of the universe as anyone else. I like to travel and experience different culture and the world and it's opened my eyes to so many things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish to meet as many people as possible, from anywhere in the world. I hope to do this by sharing knowledge - whether it be hosting people on my couch, surfing other couches, or just meeting people - I want to learn about what other people have to say, how they think, what they do, and if they're interested, share the same information about me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a handful of times: Antti in Helsinki, Matt in Indianapolis, Costas in Cyprus, Sertac in Istanbul, Sandra in Utrecht, Alex in Copenhagen, and Phil in Birmingham.

All have been wonderful experiences and I look forward to surfing/hosting/attending events and becoming more connected with this amazing community of like-minded travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite films are Pulp Fiction, The Matrix, and anything by Judd Apatow.

TV series: Dexter, South Park, Flight of the Conchords, The Apprentice, Family Guy, King of the Hill (USA) and The IT Crowd, Top Gear, Skins, and Dragons Den (UK).

I like all sorts of music, mostly in the genres of metal/hardcore, indie/alternative, electronic, and club/pop music. My favorite bands are Enter Shikari, Still Remains, Trivium, Born of Osiris, and Between the Buried and Me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bobsledding on the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic course, and the Berlin Wall which divided a city and a world for 28 years.
