ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing guy who wants to explore the world. So far, I haven't travelled much but after first great experiences with CS, I feel like the citizen of the planet Earth. I love films, books, music (almost all genres - blues, jazz, rock and classical are my the most favourite).

PHILOSOPHY

You can do everything what you want and what you like if it doesn't hurt other people.
From philosophers, Erich Fromm is the guy with the best ideas and opinions even though some of his ideas seems to me purely utopistic.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just started with couch surfing because a few friends of mine have great experience so I've decided to participate :-) I offered a couch in UK where I studied and currently, I'm about to offer couch at my place which I share with my mum and brother.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've hosted one german guy (Philip) having his gap year in uk and i was a great experience so i'd love to continue in this way.
This summer (2011) I travelled in Devon and Sommerset so I decided to try to stay at CS users' place at it was incredably great! I've met very interesting guys and to be honest... sometimes I feel like walking CS commercial :-) It's great social network!

Interests

I'm a very curious person. I love music, films, humour, reading, exploring and nature of course. I do paragliding, trekking. I don't refuse a glass of good wine or beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite directors are Miloš Forman, Oliver Stone, Stanley Kubrick and many, many other. I wanted to study film science once so since then I'm burning with a great passion to movies (I even wanted to be an actor so a film is for me mixture of acting, music, and photography). My favourite screne writers are Jiří Brdečka (rest in peace) and Charlie Kaufman.
When it comes to music, I love practically everything. I prefer instruments rather than electronical music. Eg. I love Clapton, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, but also jazz performers such as Charlie Parker, Chet Baker or Erik Truffaz. And when it comes to books - my favourite writer is Roald Dahl (not the children stuff) but I grew up on Bukowski so this way of thinking is close to me as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm flying! On my Facebook profile, you can see a few pictures from it. Paragliding rulez! I finally collected enough money to buy my own flying equipment so yeah.
Yeah, and I love hitchhiking. I love to chat with guys I stop. A man can hear many interesting stories he wouldn't hear any other way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I may provide some information about beauty and events in Czech Republic. This means mountain paths, theatre, cinema and music performances and of course beer in my favourite pub :-) czechs are producing the best lagger in the world!
I'm interested practically in everything so I'd love to learn about guest's home.
