ABOUT ME

We’re a young professional couple that just quit our very “real-world” jobs to take a shot at reeeally living. We’re traveling from New Zealand and Australia to Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. We plan to take our time and really stop to smell the roses in every region.

We both had pretty international upbringings. K was born in India, then moved to Malaysia and Australia before coming to the U.S. with his family. Renee was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the Southeastern U.S. in middle school. She unfortunately has lost her charming southern accent ;)

We both love meeting new people and easily make friends. Random conversations with strangers are just our M.O. We’re neat and respectful when staying in other’s homes. We’re very easy going. And we promise we’ll make you laugh. Also, we both enjoy going out and partying all night as much as we love chatting for hours over a cup of coffee…. Well, K might enjoy partying just a little more!

We don’t expect our hosts to play tour guide, but will always take the opportunity if offered. Our objective here is to travel cheaply and meet wonderful and interesting people along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

More love could probably solve most of the world's problems. But not in a 60’s hippies free love kind of way. Just the 'kindness and understanding' kind of love. We love a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, we’re just hoping to experience couch surfing by crashing on couches around the world. When we return home and get back on our feet, we would love to host other couch surfers and give tours around our city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We´ve stayed with couch surfing hosts in Madrid and Bolivia. We´ve also met other couch surfers at gatherings and such.

Interests

Good movies, eating out, street life, beach trips, sports (cricket, tennis and swimming), outdoorsy stuff, indoorsey stuff, writing it all down…and obviously travel.
