ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet new people. When I'm traveling, I like to spend a majority of my time walking around, I get a better feel of the city in that way. I also try my best to learn the language of the place and the people around me. I wanted to spend the next years of my life in fun places doing interesting things, and I found myself falling into a preschool job in the Czech Republic, at least for the next couple years.

PHILOSOPHY

As everyone else, I am constantly evolving, then realizing how much farther up and in I can go. I'm not sure yet where I want to go in life but I know how I want to feel when I get there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few times and hosted a few times, and each time was a very different and interesting experience, where I've learned something new about a city, a language, a culture, a person, and myself. I can't wait to have many more.

Interesses

I am a huge nerd, mostly in the language arena but I get way too excited about things like weird music, good books, zombies, llama shaped items, fun colored clothing, religion and culture, etc. I also play the guitar with happy mediocrity.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like to watch movies, and I will watch a movie at least once even if I expect it to be awful (Human Centipede) I really like zombie movies, sci fi movies, musicals, comedies, foreign movies, and the occasional chick flick.

The music I'm most into is of the Magnetic Fields, Rilo Kiley, Ghost Mice persuasion- I need there to be great lyrics and really interesting music.

I like to experience all kinds of books, Augusten Burroughs, Neil Gaiman, Donna Tartt are my favourite authors but I'll read anything on a recommendation.

Cities at night, countryside scenes, people helping people, people giving everything they have and everything they are when it seems to you like what they have is less than one could survive with. Things that come out of peoples' mouths and minds and closets.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I could teach you how to say hello, how are you, and I love you in several languages, as well as a few fun phrases in French, Spanish, Arabic, Greek, Turkish, Czech, Chinese, Malay, and Thai, a couple basic chords/easy to play songs on the guitar, and plenty of useless knowledge. I want to learn lots, anything I can get my hands on, and I am very interested to hear what you have to say and talk about.

I can make you pancakes and syrup, eggs, basically anything breakfast or anything fried. I can make you laugh and laugh with you and I can be very grateful to be welcomed into your home and be shown a little corner of your life :)
