I've been travelling outside India since 2001, have been to 50 countries. Love countryside places to stay in, and cities to visit. Love small churches for the architecture, but is an atheist. Love local simple food, almost any live music, small village markets, and village to village walks and biking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always liked staying in B&Bs and boutique hotels in the countryside for the forced interaction with the locals. Couchsurfing feels like a good option to do something similar, so why not try that out? I'm a bit introverted, so without the forced interaction, I'd probably not talk to anyone. I get energized by meeting people but can only do it in short spurts.
