ABOUT ME:

My pasion for traveling, and meeting other cultures in particular, started after high school. My first experience overseas was South-America, where discovered the beauty and downsides of volunteerwork and traveling around. I continued studying when I came back to the Netherlands (social work, human geography and planning, international development studies) and tried to combine this with more adventures abroad. During these years I was in Nepal as an intern, traveled around in crazy and beautiful India and come back to the mountains of Nepal for work.

Now I am in my last year of the Master program International Development, specialization Disaster Studies. To finalize my Master I will go to the Philippines to do research on 'the participation of disabled people in Disaster Risk Reduction'. This research allows me to combine several topics of interests: disabled people, traveling and learning.

During three monhts I hope to travel around the country, discover beautifull places and meet many new people. Not only for my studies, but also for my personal experience. I am curious about different thoughts, different ways of living and I like to share my experiences as well! I am willing to help people where I can: I will always treat you the way I want to be treated. The most important thing for me is, that we can be inspired by each other and make an incredible, memorable time!
