ABOUT ME

I was a student living in Paris since 2010, originally from China. During the past 3 years, I managed to travel around Europe, Africa and Asia, almost all by myself.

Everyday, I met strangers in some hostel, on some train, at some tourist attraction, one time even on top of a frozen river. Then we became friends, we laughed, we exchanged stories, and sometimes we ended up travelling together. It's so great to have new friends with great stories. After all these travels, it would be safe to say I can tell you stories for several nights without repeating.

While I love travelling so much, my enthusiasm for photography would be no less devoting. Though not a professional photographer yet, I'm hoping that one day it will come true. And now I'm an editor in a fashion/news magazine, working in weekdays...

PHILOSOPHY

I was an atheist when I finished high school, but I'm agnostic now. How and why I changed my view is another story to share.

I'm open-minded, optimistic, talkative when I'm sharing travelling stories. But actually I prefer listening to others, about their life and experience.

I've surfed many times, and recently began to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experience so far has been more than amazing. I've done most of my travels without couch surfing, well technically I did crash on someone's couch while travelling, but we met on the way, not through the website, until the trip to see the Northern Lights, where I was so lucky to have a great host and saw the lights!

I love photography. That has been my No.1 passion for a long time.
I can cook delicious Chinese food, as long as I have a pan, a stove, and the things for me to cook.
I swim at least 2 times a week when I'm not travelling.
Anything about language learning fascinates me.
I'm quite into politics. Given that I'm from a country with the most developed censor system, I became an avid twitter user.
I don't smoke. I drink occasionally.

I watched an extensive amount of TV series and movies to learn English. They are mostly Sci-fi, political/court room drama, sometimes romantics or comedies.
<1984> by George Orwell is my favorite book.
About music, well that's a lot...A few singers/groups that I like:
Lily Allen, The Beatles, Birdy, Coldplay, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Gregorian, Hurts, Maroon 5, Mika, Nujabes, John Mayer, Nightwish, Queen, Radiohead.

It was a long stories, in short, I managed to investigate and lie my way through all the plain-clothes police and secret service to visit a famous dissident and offer help while I was travelling in China.

The first time rock climbing in Morocco is one of the most amazing experience I had. The act of observing the rock and looking for ways to climb up is just great!! The persistence, endurance, skill and patience it required make the conquering satisfaction totally unforgettable.

I can teach basic photography, and tell you something about China that you probably don't know about; also I have so many many travelling stories to share.

I started playing guitar not long ago, it would be great if you can give me some instructions.
