ABOUT ME

I came to USA 20 years ago, lived in the Bay Area California for 10 years then moved to Reno and bought a home here. I love Reno for the outdoor fun. I have hiked the whole Tahoe rim trail and hope to do the pacific rim trail, some, or all of it. I have kayaked down the truckee river, we have a great kayak park downtown.
I love to travel and meet fun people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare bedroom with 2 single beds for surfers to stay 2 night max. We can meet for coffee, glass of wine, dinner or a tour of the area. I know some of the beautiful hiking and fun areas to visit. I will tell you about the good, cheap restaurants in town, and things to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a number of people stay over, everyone has been considerate, interesting and a pleasure to have over. They have all been great with my dogs too. I have stayed with one host, I really enjoy what this organization has done for travel. I am enjoying this experience, and helping people along the way.

Interessi

Travel, hiking camping, photography, dancing - salsa, latin etc. Reading, architecture. Wildlife/bird watching. Watching the surf at the beach or sitting by a lake in the wilderness.

Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone and the Teton National Park. That was impressive.
Got back from Spain in Oct 2010. Barcelona and Granada are top of the list. Fascinating architecture.
