About Me

Hey! I’m Ren she/they and I’m from Scotland, (originally Midlothian) but I currently live in Glasgow. I have just finished my masters in Disaster Intervention and Humanitarian Aid and the most important thing in life to me is to help people (hence that course).

My hobbies include being in nature (in any sort of form), climbing, arts and crafts and painting (I have a studio in Glasgow), yoga, roller derby and recently I’ve been attending Buddhism classes as I find it a really interesting religion/way of life.

Me and my partner often host people however we use his account so please ask if you want to see reviews of me on there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

For books I love the Kite Runner series! Movies - I love this Brazilian Sci Fi series called 3% (although that doesn’t count as a movie sorry). Music - honestly love to listen to a wide range of things and always open to new listens currently loving Japanese house, cosmo sheldrake, everything everything and Charlotte Adigery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a remote village in Nepal for a year and only ate rice and daal - I was teaching English to classes of more than 80 kids! More recently I lived in a yoga ashram in India which was a very cool experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Spanish - I did a year of university in Mexico! Yoga, crafts or friendship!
