ABOUT ME

I'm an aspiring opera singer studying in Boston, MA, USA. I love music, cooking, and generally having a good time. I've always had a passion for traveling, and being young and financially limited, I often stay with friends or (occasionally) friends of friends. Because of this, I've come to learn first hand that CouchSurfing is right: your traveling experience will be incredibly enhanced by staying with people and getting to know a city from its inhabitants.

PHILOSOPHY

Generally similar to Buddhism. I'm a pacifist who prizes compassion, wisdom, and curiosity. I also believe that life is a long road of personal discovery, and I try to be constantly moving forward on that journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, my house is rather full, and in general my roommates are not very big on the idea of housing strangers. Maybe some day. Therefore, I'm currently open to dine and show people around the city, when I'm free, which is generally weekends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am currently on my first couch surfing expedition! I'm staying with a fabulous couple in Montreal (Anika et Cedric!), and I love it! My friend and I are going to cook dinner for them tonight as our good-bye gift. Riccardo brought some real, Italian pasta with him on the air plane, and we're going to do something with it... who knows what!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked with Tibetan refugees for three months last summer teaching English and music. These were the most inspiring people I've ever met, so full of life, direction, passion, energy, happiness, and generosity! I grew so much for their stories and from our common experience.
