I'm Ben, from Wolverhampton in the sunny West Midlands of England - a very dull place if ever there was one.

I'm now packpacking across Australia after a good few years absence from the world of couchsurfing

People, politics, music, philosophy, physics (I'm a bit of a geek), life, the universe and everything. I pretty much take an interest in anything that displays some skill, some passion, and sincerity, particualarly with regards to my music tastes - so lots of absolutely anything except TV talent shows and dubstep, which is cack.

I love playing and listening to funk, soul, jazz, blues and metal.

Not much of a reader since my law degree, but I'm slowly making a dent in Don Quixote at the minute.

I can play guitar a little bit, but then who can't these days, I suppose? Used to be an English teacher way back when, so happy to assist with your participles if you're struggling.
