ABOUT ME
25, media student, life enthusiast. I lived in the Germany, the Netherlands and Finland. In my freetime i like to do stuff with my friends, play and listen to music, travel, read books, party and so on.
PHILOSOPHY
Hard to say without sounding trite. But i am very (sometimes too much :>) optimistic and try to find and see positive in everything and everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like the idea to not only get to know countries and towns, but also people and cultures. That's why I am trying to use this personal way of traveling as much as possible and also providing a couch in my town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During an Eurotrip in 2010: Vienna, Zurich, Barcelona, Paris, Rome etc. and in Vietnam (2012). Every time it was a great experience and I met fantastic people.
Interests
Music is probably my most important hobby. Not only I love to listen to music, but I also played in various bands and am planning to work within the industry after finishing my studies. Moreover, I love books, my friends and traveling. For sports I like everything that includes boards (snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing).

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Soo much, but to make it briefly I would say Indie stuff (Rock, Pop and Folk), Electro, and a bit of Hip Hop. I love to listen to music that has meaningful lyrics and moves me (who don't? :>)
Movies: Probably relatively similar to my music taste. A bit Indie-ish with a meaning and even metaphorical. I like most of David Lynch's work as well as Kubrik, and especially movies such as Garden State, and Lost in Translation.
Books:I am a big fan of Kafka (Metamorphosis), Mark Twain and Oscar Wild. Lately I whipped through Shantaram and other traveling books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to limit this down to two or three things, but especially regarding traveling I can mention one perfect experience. In 2011 I was traveling with friends in Portugal and while we were in the Arrábida Natural Park near Lisbon we were able to find this perfect spot on a cliff directly at the sea. We could look in one direction and see endless water, in another and see the Natural Park until horizon and another to see a gigantic sunset. We totally isolated no other people for miles... just beautiful.
