I made an account in CS a few years ago, but have never used it. It was just a few months ago that I decided to give it a try. I'd like to meet people from different countries and learn from them plus also gain motivation to travel more :)

I'm a neuroscientist at Edinburgh University, in Scotland. I study the brain mechanisms of consciousness, emotions, and face perception - our ability to understand faces. I'm friendly, easygoing, down to earth and love meeting new people and chatting in general. During my free time, I like playing my guitar, reading, hanging out with friends, cycling in the countryside, and watching Netflix series or movies.

Interessi

I enjoy plenty of things. For instance, cycling in the countryside, getting lost and finding my way back, I enjoy that but mostly in summer. In case it starts raining!
I've been playing the guitar and singing (or trying) since I was a teenager. Most of the music I listen to is classic rock, pop-folk, and other newer stuff.
I guess my job is my favourite hobby - doing research about neuroscience and learning more about how our minds work. For now, my research is about answering fundamental questions about consciousness. For example, can we process emotions unconsciously? I'd like to apply my research to clinical population too someday.
In general, I like meeting new people and learning about their cultures and experiences.
