We are Renzo Calderon and Sarah Nugent. We have been together for over 3 years now and love to travel! We met in Central America and have since traveled throughout the US, Canada, Thailand, Laos, and Indonesia together. This is our first time traveling throughout Europe so we are really excited to meet new people and learn about the many cultures that we have read and heard so much about. We are both musicians and have a band called Café con Leche. We love to play music and always travel with a guitar in hand. Renzo has done couchsurfing before in Brazil and really loved his experience! We are really outgoing people and feel that we would have a great time exchanging stories, music, and good food. We both love to cook so we would love to cook some meals for whoever is able to house us as a thank you! We play lots of card games and love to go on adventures in new cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing for a more unique travel experience. We would like to really get to know the cultures of the different countries we plan to travel to and we know that the best way to do that is by meeting the local people who know their native cities the best.

We play mainly surf rock, folk, reggae, blues and soul. We love all types of music! From rock to rap to salsa!

Teach, Learn, Share

We are both English teachers! Renzo also can teach Spanish and Portuguese. Renzo is also a guitar teacher and Sarah can teach piano. We also love to do yoga and personal training.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share good music, delicious food, and good times! We also try to exercise often so we can personal train or guide our hosts through a yoga session! Would love to help anyone interested in improving English, Spanish, or Portuguese speaking skills too. And if anyone wants to learn guitar we would love to help!
