I am a 26 years old girl who likes to meet interesting people from all over the world. I am a sensitive and sensible individual, very down to earth, chilled out, reliable, passionate and fun. I love live music, films, books, cooking, dancing, yoga, writing, art, red wine, my friends and family, animals....I have been living in London for three years and I would love to have a year off in South America at some point. I want to travel the world and breathe in different lands around the globe...Im a dreamer...I am optimist...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to Couch Surfing through a flatmate. She came up one day saying I am hosting a guy from Brazil tonight... I was a little bit sceptical about it at the beginning but I end up loving the experience...We hosted several people together and that's how I was introduced to couch surfing, even though I haven't been able to be part of the community for a long time due to restrictions on my latest household ;( I also was hosted in Italy a while ago for a few days and I met really nice people.

Since I signed up this year, I have had only two couch surfing experiences as I am quite busy at the moment. I was hosting a girl from Brazil and I had a very nice time with her and I believe we have become good friends.

More recently, I´ve just been in Mallorca hosted by a couple whose profile you can see below and I have had quite a nasty experience with them. You can read the references and judge for yourselves. They both put me in a very uncomfortable situation in a club and I had to leave the place because I was confused about what was going on. Then I realize I wasn´t wrong and even they admit it later on that they use couchsurfing as a way to find a third person for sex. I didn´t used their place as a hostel as I spend a lot of time with them doing the same things the rest of couchsurfers that have been hosted by them do in Mallorca, but I felt very uncomfortable. They quick us out after inviting them for dinner and going out at night again with them. I should have left their place but I had one night left in Mallorca and not much money.

Im very upset I have had this experience. Chus and Fina seem to be a very interesting couple at the beginning but if you dig in a little bit, lots of things come up in the surface. I feel they use couch surfing for the wrong reasons and knowing they have a situation of power. They could be straightfoward and honest about it so the person knows what´s going on upfront.
