Overview
About Me
From New Jersey, by way of Florida, I now find myself in the DC area.
Above all else, I am a high school teacher. Eternally, I am a neighborhood-loving barista. The parts of life I enjoy most are seeing new places, listening to new music, trying new food, and meeting good people. That's why I'm here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My former roommate, Lauren, introduced me to the wonders of CouchSurfing back in Florida. After we both ended in DC with a fellow CSer, Autumn, we hosted lots of surfers on our comfy couch. I love hearing other people's stories and sharing ideas about life and music and food.
I've only stayed on 1 couch (Suz from Richmond) and she was great! I'm looking forward to the next adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
All types of music.
I fall asleep during most movies.
Mostly non-fiction reads, but I'll come around.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I was silent for 12 days. It was a meditation retreat, Vipassana.

education & coffee...
I'm not an expert, but I know more than your average bear.
...I also know a lot about bears.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I wish I had the talent to bring you music and interesting home-cooking, but I am not that impressive. What I can offer is decent conversation, coffee beans, and booze of your choice.
