About Me

🖖🏼

I am an improviser, cooking enthusiast, traveler, occasional poet and writer. I love to go on long solo rides on bikes, am an avid listener of rock and classical Indian sometime, can probably read any book I lay my hands on or atleast 20pages of it. I like/want to travel because it stretches my perspective in unexpected ways.
I also love to explore historical buildings and believes that the crumbling remains of old structures and monuments are romantic reflections of both past and future of our species. Through my traveling and photography(of non living things), I want to understand how this monkey tribe of ours works on this small rock in an infinite universe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in 2016 one of my best friend wouldn't shut up about CS and how amazing it is and why I shoud be a part of it. I gave in and joined this wierd community. Sure it has its issues and annoyance but since I've been in I've experienced new friends, cultures, adventures, true love, perspective, knowledge, insight from/with people from all over the world. And what a ride it has been.

Interests

I'm a person of diverse set of intrests. Honestly, it depends on the phase of the moon.
I like my coffee like I like my nights: dark, endless and impossible to sleep through.
I like accountable people. I also dislike most people.
I'm a completionist and hate when things/people are half baked/incomplete.
I also love to procrastinate(a lot).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once gave bath to an elephant 🐘 and made good friends with her. I know, sounds too good to be true.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you star gazing, how to blend Indian and Italian food and make it taste good.

I'd love to learn about the local culture as much as possible, always open to learning new languages, new ways to cook and everything that I have little or no experience with under the sky.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My twisted perspective on the universe and its meaningless.
A glass of water if you scream at me in the middle of the night.
