ABOUT ME

With 24 years I already feel like a woman but sometimes I just want to be a girl again. I'm a small and affectionate person who might appear shy during the first meeting but actually I have a fire burning inside my soul. I love to meet people and to make new friends. You never know who you're going to meet. I'm a very kind and respectful person. Treating others like I want to be treated is quite natural! :) And if I'm able to inspire people or to infect them with my love of life even better! Just laugh. A smile is always free and can light up a sad soul!

I still haven't found my place in life. Trying and seeking new adventures feeds my restlessness and keeps me alive!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet adventurous and open-minded people. I really wish I will get to know fascinating people and discover other lifestyles. Maybe it will help to find my own meaning of life. My desire for constant movement makes it really hard for me to find a place to be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my experiences were great so far. It just changed my life. I found wonderful friends. I don't want to travel any more without at least doing a bit of couchsurfing. You learn to trust in life, in other people and also in yourself.

兴趣

Besides travelling around and meeting new people I enjoy outdoor sports (running, swimming, rock climbing, hiking) and creative activities (writing, photography, Photoshop). You'll never find me inside a house if I have the chance to be active. But sometimes I need my time to rest. I love to dream, to read books or just listening to guitar music. Sometimes I like to go out for dancing but I can't stand this superficial pop music for a long time. It might seem ridiculous but I almost never watch TV. I believe there's no bigger waste of your lifetime than sitting on a couch watching TV. I enjoy movies from time to time, though.

I love movies and books with a deeper meaning behind the story who gives me stuff to think about. I like it when people are fighting for things they love to find their own destiny. "Into The Wild" is one of my favorite movies and inspired me a lot for my own desire to travel!

My taste of music changes from time to time. Depending on my personal mood. But I love guitar music. Rock'n'Roll, music of the 80's, American country music, soft and hard rock, and also melodic death metal. Since a few months I'm about to fall in love with American country music from the Midwest – and Bluegrass!

I try to make the best of every day I live! My zodiac sign says: "Aries natives are good at beginning things. They are said to be young souls but it is said that many ancient spirits take their birth under it's sign to enjoy lives marked by simplicity and youthful zest. Aries can be forceful people. In October 2009 I travelled eight days through Italy (Padua, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Bologna, Genua, Ventimiglia, Milan) all the way on my own. Just me, my backpack and my train ticket. It was an awesome experience. Travelling alone offers you more freedom and you're able to meet new people, but sometimes I felt lost and lonely.

The adventure of a one week participation in a project called "Bergwaldprojekt" in Germany was unforgettable. Our group, consisting of about 20 women, worked for one week in the forest to save nature. It was a hard work, but it freed my mind and I enjoyed the evenings we cooked and sat together, just talking and enjoying life like there was never something to worry about!

Be close to nature and animals makes me feel peacefully. That's why I was a vegetarian for a short period in my life. I used to fight for animals rights, especially against using animals for entertainment, fashion, medicine and cosmetics. It's hard trying to tell people why I did this. I've learnt to fight for my belief no matter what other people say. It definitely made me stronger.

A great adventure was my decision to live one year or longer in the United States of America. I always dreamed about living abroad. It was a hard and long way for me, though, but finally I can say it was one of the best things I ever did!

I just came back from a five-week road trip through the states California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska AND from a one-week road trip in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama. :)

There are still many amazing things in my head which hopefully will become true. :-) I'm working on it!
