ABOUT ME

I am a retired business owner. I love to travel and have done a fair amount of it. I am a conservative person and would never done couch surfing on my own but my wife Linda joined and said she was going to couch surf. I decided if I didn't want to sit home alone I had better get used to the idea. We did our first surfing in 2007 and never looked back. It is the only way I would travel now. The people we have met and the enjoyment has been amazing. People have a hard time understanding this but it is the best possible way to learn the true cultures throughout the world.

My wife and I have hosted several times and been hosted several times. Surfing and hosting is great fun and a very enjoyable learning of other culture's food and many places. Thanks Couch Surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Germany,England and Wales. We have hosted several people at our home and would love to host more people. We are hosting August 2013 and October 2013.
Going to a 50+ meeting in France April 2013.
