About Me
Feel free to follow my travel adventures on Instagram @renate.kerane
Before pandemics I used to organise conferences in the Old Town Rīga, but now I've become an English teacher or maybe 'an influencer' for those teenagers :D
I'm married and blessed with three daughters: Patricia (14), Emilia (10) and Olivia (7).
We try to travel a lot. Maybe it's a form of escaping ordinary life, but it really helps us bond, charge our batteries, find our inner voice, connect with amazing people and see the world as a beautiful place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have enjoyed all couchsurfers we had hosted up to date, but had missed surfing for some time, since our daughters were born and were too small to travel together or leave them with granny.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have been couchsurfing since 2008 and have been hosted in London, Colougne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Prague, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Oslo, Göthenburg, Portsmouth, Milan, Vienna and Venice. All of these were very positive places to stay and really hospitable people opening their homes to us.
Interests
My dream is to travel until I die, play jazz, paint, get more professional at photography, have deep and meaningful friendships, grow as personality and make a difference in other people's lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have given birth to my three children - that's the most amazing thing I've ever experienced! The intense agony of labor pain mixed with joy and ecstasy of love when you meet with your baby and look into each other's eyes for the first minutes.... That's worth a billion!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can play you some piano jazz and share a ton of travelling stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer a sofa bed in the living room. A cup of tea or coffee anytime, but I am not very good at making dinners. Will take care of my kids' meals at first place, but you are always free to use the kitchen and prepare a meal. I would appreciate your independence in this respect.
