About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel and meet new people!

ABOUT ME

I am a very creative person. My primary art form is photography, something I went to school for and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of. I like drawing and painting and although I am not very talented, it's the process I love. I knit, weave, and waste too much time online. I enjoy hammocking, bringing my dog to the dog park, and playing with makeup. Our pup is a boxer whippet mutt and the light of our lives! I am always looking for a way to make our home look quirkier and love seeing other designed spaces with a budget!

When I can't occupy myself with anything else, I eat! I have been a vegetarian since high-school and feel like it has made me love food even more than I did growing up. My favorite types of food are Italian and Mexican, but give me a good curry or stir fry and I will be juust as happy! I love to cook and love to try new things. One thing I really strive for is to eat healthy, without giving up my guilty pleasures, and to eat fresh! I try to keep a garden each spring but normally I fail miserably!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I could ever choose just a couple moments from my life that have left me awestruck. I could tell you that I have things crossed off my bucket list that seems amazing that someone like me could have crossed off; I could tell you that every moment spent understanding a person willing to be understood is amazing to me; and even sometimes a simple breeze, a nice walk or a wonderful sunset will strike me in awe. Who am I to just choose a couple?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a lot of technical knowledge about Photography and can give 'lessons' to anyone who wants! I think visual literacy is very important and love to share what I know!
I can also help with learning English, I know it pretty well and could probably help you with someone wanting to better learn the language!
I totally love to cook, and know a lot about off-the-wall foods! If you want to learn more about vegetarianism, low gluten/dairy living or just cooking in general, I would love to give you a few pointers or just share ideas and make a meal together!
