Hi
My name is Reuben i am from the U.K i am 23 and currently traveling New Zealand and south east Asia.
I have a keen interested in setting up my own community and living of the land and being totally self sufficient and off the grid living.
Although i haven't really acquired any of these skills to achieve my dream i am still confident that i will reach my goals.
I also enjoy all things nerd culture i.e video games,film,tv and everything in between :)
I also enjoy playing football, basketball , ping pong and Frisbee(not that you can really play Frisbee) as well as a little yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because i would like to meet like minded people and stay in some beautiful places and meet the locals(because we all the know the locals know the best spots)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well my favorite band is the Red hot chili peppers but i enjoy everything really apart from some sub genres of music i.e Gabba or Deathcore metal. I really rate the broken empire trilogy by Mark Lawrence those books are amazing.
Movies well Star wars obviously(original trilogy) The Matrix as well as Point Break is awesome love that film Christopher Nolan's batman trilogy is amazing and interstellar is out of this world ;)
Also Game of thrones tv show is great as well Breaking bad!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i Crowd surfed out of a set with Rage Against the Machine at Download Festival 2010 that was pretty insane, but i guess going traveling with my girlfriend round the world is probably the best thing really :)
