About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel the world! I want to see it all, touch its leaves, smell it's flowers, experience its cultures, taste its foods, and hear its languages (human, animal, and the voices on the winds!) And I want to make a difference in the lives around me!

ABOUT ME

I'm a person that likes people, as a general rule, but I usually keep to myself. I'm incredibly attentive to the people I actually talk to, and I hate arguing and yelling. Anything that needs to be worked out is far easier to talk out than to yell about. Sports and politics, although I don't hate them, don't particularly interest me, either. I'm secretly a science nerd, and I love being in nature. I have a sarcastic and teasing side, but I only use it on my friends because they know I don't mean anything by it and will not be accidentally offended. I'm quiet around people I don't know or when I don't have anything to say, but can be rambunctious and obnoxious when I do.

I'm into a lot of things. Everything from fashion to financial freedom, languages to love, business, books, music, spirituality. A little bit of everything.

And maybe it sounds silly, but my biggest dream right now is partially to travel the world, yes, but also to stay and work a while everywhere I go, touching the lives of the people around me, and learning from them, too, as I go. I want to work really hard to save up money along the way, so that when I finally come to a place that feels like home, and I know that it's right for my dream, I can make it my own, and turn it into a place that fate can send weary souls that need rest, and to be surrounded by peace, happiness, and light while they put the pieces of their lives back together and figure out where they want to go from there.

Someday I WILL have my own secret garden, with a willow tree to lay under in the soft spring breeze, with my bare feet resting in the cool green grass, and a brave sweet love that could bring the world to its knees ♥

I'm a 24 year old girl with a gypsy soul, just trying to get by, one day at a time, and working to see every corner of the world. I love music and the laughter that goes along with it. I believe in magic. I follow my heart and go wherever life takes me with an open mind and open arms. My journey is just beginning, and only heaven knows where I'll wind up, but there's an adventure to be had, and it's calling my name, so I will answer. On my little bird wings, I fly high, seeking new friends, fun times, happy days, and someday a place to call home. Will you be part of my story?

PHILOSOPHY

There is an eternal hope that exists in the world. There is always another day to live for, another chance to change the world around you. Never stop trying. Never stop loving. Find joy in the little things. Smile. Laugh. Try something new every chance you get. And most of all, never forget that a random act of kindness could change someone's day, week, month, year, or life for the better at any given moment, whether or not you ever know it! So why not?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I'm an observer. When I'm done traipsing about the world, I plan to be a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've met two people in person that I found out later had CS accounts ;)

Interests

I love travel and experiencing new things. I'm still just getting started in that respect, but I'm learning a lot as I go, and the world is an amazing place!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skydiving and bungee jumping, getting completely lost in the bush less than a mile from home, and those little moments when you realize just how far away from home you really are. Also: glow worm tunnels that are open to the moonlight.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some basic Japanese, or help with English practice.
