About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To rediscover my purpose in a new place.

ABOUT ME

I've done a lot so far in life and could be described in many ways. I intentionally lived below the poverty line for a year in Chicago. I was a national organizer for the student Fair Trade movement for 3 years and have spent time with small scale coffee and banana producers. I have slept on the streets of DC, and not because I wanted to. I have climbed mountains and camped in the middle of a dune field. I've learned to play a bit of fiddle. I've bicycled around New Zealand's North Island.

I'm pretty easy going, but I do have high standards for two things in life: my music and my coffee. I also have a special interest in both ritual and interfaith relationships.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll do this through quotes - 3 of em.

"God gives you the nut, but does not crack it."

"Nothing is as important as friends, not food, shelter, work, or even language."

"There is no them. There are only facets of us."
