ABOUT ME

I'm a middle-class small town white Canadian boy who is in love with the world. Some of my best connections are with complete strangers. I spend a lot of time outdoors be it for work or play. I enjoy working with youth in the summer months travelling through the wilderness. The past few winters I have worked as a Ski Patroller at various mountains in BC. I like putting myself out there and taking risks...I strive to be present and live in the moment not letting what has been or what will be worry me!Life is good!

PHILOSOPHY

Starting to dig the Buddhist's and the Taoist ways of thinking about things....Which has taught me to not be so attached to "my" philosophy!I believe we live in the most unhealthy and destructive culture that has ever existed...but life is still really good.Striving to be present and live in the moment! It's cliche and corny but man it seems to bring me a lot of peace and contentment

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a little and surfed a bit more! I do a lot of travelling, mainly around North America in between jobs and just for fun! I like to hitch-hike and couch surf as a more potent way to experience the places and the people. It has been such a an amazing way to be on the road! I have a huge desire to give back as much as I can and host lots of people. Sometimes my Fernie winter rental situation involves roommates that may not be up for hosting like I am....boo erns! But I like to be respectful :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed couches of close friends...and with complete strangers who have picked me up while hitch-hiking...again - some of the best experiences I have ever had. Meeting different people teaches me so much about the world and it also reminds me how much we all have in common.
