About Me

An international traveler.

Care immensely about community building, inclusiviness and cross-cultural engagements.

PHILOSOPHY

Be relentless in pursuing my passions, be self-assertive and confident in everything I do. Always look to better myself by taking note of how life unfolds everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

See the world, meet fellow travelers, and serve the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first surf in Oct 2014 in Dalllas, my host then set a really really high standard considering it was my first time surfing. He exceeded my expectations in every way, and I made a lasting friendship through that experience. I was inspired by him since then to give back to the community and uphold the guideline of "to be of maximum service to fellow peeps and the creator".

Interests

Huge sports fan, soccer, basketball, american football, anything goes. I play violin, and i am currently taking guitar lessons.
played on varsity basketball team for Denison University my freshmen year. Pursue a fit body (still have a long way to go).
I love meeting new people from diverse backgrounds.

Music, Movies, and Books

• Jazz/Hiphop/Pop/NeoSoul/R&B
• I played violin growing up, so I listen to classical music whenever i need to get work done.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the summer of 2013, I went to Taiwan with my childhood friends that I haven't been in touch with for a long time after staying in the states for several years --- it was a spiritual driven experience, I got to realise the importance of aged childhood friendships. They remind you of who you were, where you were from and revive you at times of disorientation.

Went to Dakar, Senegal in 2015 and stayed five weeks and stayed with a local family in Dakar while interning for a local communications agency.
