Music, Movies, and Books

🎼 I’m really into a mix of styles❤️‍🔥! I love the soulful, rhythmic vibes of Hermanos Gutiérrez, Café Cubano, and Nestor Torres, but I’m also drawn to the modern, eclectic sounds of Parcels, Gorillaz, and Balthazar. I enjoy the experimental side of progressive rock with King Crimson, and I have a soft spot for the timeless, emotional depth of Penny & The Quarters. I guess you could say my taste is all about balancing tradition with innovation, keeping things diverse and dynamic. 🎶

🍿 My favorite movie is "The Worst Person in the World"😶‍🌫️. It explores the complexities of love, identity, and the struggles of finding one’s way in life in such a relatable and authentic way.♥️ I see a lot of myself in the protagonist's journey, and the film captures those messy, uncertain feelings that we all go through. It's more than just a story to me—it feels like a reflection of my own experiences and emotions. 🎥

📚 "Journey to the East" by Hermann Hesse is my favorite book because it speaks to my inner quest for meaning and personal growth. The novel’s exploration of a spiritual journey and the search for a higher purpose really resonates with me. I find the themes of unity and self-discovery particularly compelling, as they mirror my own experiences and reflections on finding my path in life. The way Hesse blends the mystical with the practical in the story provides both inspiration and insight, making it a deeply meaningful read for me.🫠🫠🫠

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’m pretty good at whipping up Turkish meals! 🍽️
I love cooking everything from kebabs and mezes to sweet treats😍. Whether it’s a hearty stew or a sweet treat, I really enjoy bringing those delicious flavors to life🤤. Cooking Turkish food is a fun way for me to share a bit of Turkey’s rich culinary tradition with friends and family🌸

Teach, Learn, Share

If I'm going to live with someone from a different culture for a few days, I would love to teach our cultures to each other!🤓

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm eager to share everything about my culture, especially when it comes to cooking🤤. I love talking about traditional Turkish recipes, from the techniques I use to the stories behind each dish. Whether it’s a cooking demonstration or just sharing tips and recipes, I enjoy showing others the rich flavors and traditions that make Turkish cuisine so special.🥂🤍
