About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm Iranian, born in Iran but raised in the USA. Iran is where I consider home. Now I'm living in Shanghai, just out here to live a different life, seek adventure, and discover my self and the pieces of the world.
I'm easy going--why make life difficult and fret over things that, ultimately, don't matter.
No regrets--it was a good decision at some point in time.
Spontaneity is my motto in life--I can't plan trips, my future, or the weekend. Things just have to happen and I'll ride with it.
I try to stay in the present because that's the only real thing that exists.
My interests are in seeking what exists outside of this material world---the meanings and journeys beyond what we see and feel. That's why human interaction, face to face coversation, sharing of time/ideas is so valuable to me. It's REAL and it resonates.
love conversations and exploring new places. I love new experiences and connecting with locals!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So many people I've met during travels have touched my life and I can never forget them. Even if it was just a fleeting moment, a shared bus ride, a conversation with a seller at a shop....
Before I got on to this website, I was doing my own kind of couch surfing. The first time I stayed at a locals house was when I was backpacking through Turkey. during that whole trip I just met locals and stayed with them. It was awesome and beautiful in every sense possible. I want more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year it suddenly hit me that I wanted to climb snowy Mt Adams (the second tallest mountain in Washington State). Geared up, and trekked up the mountain the next week entirely in the snow. Summitted the mountain in 1.5 days. Elevation: 13,000ft.
And the descent: Sat on my butt and slid down the tallest, snowiest, slide I've ever seen.
