About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to 5 continents, meet different people and experience cultures around the world... would be nice to see some penguins and polar bears too :)

ABOUT ME

Humorous, gadget freak, resourceful jack of all trades. Teasing, joking, smiling... anything that make people feel happy :D

PHILOSOPHY

Time is the most previous thing you can ever have, so spent it wisely, wildly and fruitfully. But don't take it too seriously, life is the most amazing RPG game :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was born and raised in Indonesia but spent the last 9 years in Singapore. Yup, Singapore is that small dot in the map which you can't see until you zoom in very very close. I always give some uniquely-singapore souvenirs to my hosts and some cool CSers I meet along the way. Most of the time, they were surprised to learn one shocking fact about Singapore from that gift :)

But I truly love my hometown, and I can share with you some of interesting things about Indonesia... Which according to some surveys is the place with the happiest residents in the world :D

While traveling, I always actively join the local gatherings and events. Have a blast and make new friends is the top of my to-do list.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been traveling to China, Korea and US... I can honestly say that CS is truly a blessing. I mean, where else can you instantly find gatherings full of cool like-minded people right after you landed?

When I was in Jeju island - South Korea, I didn't know anything about the island. All I knew was I got an air ticket, booked a hostel and that's it. I landed at 2pm and reluctantly opened CS website for events nearby. Who would have thought a small island out of nowhere had actually a potluck event at 5pm on that day! We had a great time. I met some awesome people who showed me around the island and even taught me a little bit of Korean. I even got a host to surf for 3 nights.

This is just one of many other great experience I had. I'm sure many more will come, and I just can't wait!

I really appreciate the kindness of people I met in my journey which makes me want to return the favor. That's why I'm opening up my place for people to surf now :)
