About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life, explore the world and my own self. I want to let go for a little while of my obligations and just go out there to see and get what the world has to offer!

ABOUT ME

I love riding bike, dancing and singing. I am a very happy person, who enjoys spending time with lots of friends and going out. Adventurous and energetic, looking for new experiences! Love meeting new people and places. I am detailed oriented: I enjoy small pleasures of everyday life, like having coffee at a nice cosy cafe, discovering a new hidden street at a known neoghbourhood or sit at the park on an autumn noon and enjoy the sun.
Bumping into someone I know at an unexpected place is a sudden burst of happiness. I guess that is what I love the most about life: surprises.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven´t had a Coshsurfing experience before. Really look forward to have one!!!

Interests

Art is the main interest I have. Although I studied Economics, I always stayed in contact with artistic activities such as taking sculputure lessons and dance lessons for years. Besides plastic arts, music has always been very important in my life.
I also love nature and animals. I love spending time outdoors. I like watching movies and going to music concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Beck, Fiona Apple, Cake, The Beatles, Kings of Convenience, Radiohead, Orishas,
Books: every Paul Auster´novel. Just love the latent mystery he creates. Milan Kundera was one of my favourite authors a couple of years ago, before Auster.
About movies, I have a lousy memory. Once I watch a movie, I may recall wether I liked it or not, but won´t remember it :). Found "Death at a Funeral" very very funny, "The eternal sunshine of a spotless mind" really poetic, "Rompecorazones" very funny and romantic, all the Bridget Jones saga is the perfect movies to watch with girl friends on a sunday night..
Last year I took a course on Cinema together with my friends. We would watch a film per week and discuss about it and it´s director, making special focus in the means film, as a language, has to communicate.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you ever get a ingrown toenail, you should scrape the nail in its center with a cissor to make it bend outwards.
If you ever get a cold, drink hot milk with honey.
If you ever feel a little down, get your bike and ride. (Make sure you take music with you.)
Dance whenever you can.
