About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore all my ambitions & the world

ABOUT ME

I like to be nice but not the boring kind, if that makes sense. Being honest comes pretty easy to me. I like knowing people can trust what I say all the time.

I love comedy and am a performer. I also acquire talent for corporate engagements. In short, I love to bring entertainment to people whether it's me on stage or someone I booked. I'm also a software engineer & author on Lynda.com teaching people how to code.

I love the ocean & beach life. Malibu California is like heaven to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Just do it.

Yes, Nike said it first. So what? It's still true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a big home in Los Angeles country and have been doing home exchanges. I'm here b/c sometime I just need a short period to be hosted if in between home exchanges. My place is clean & spacious as I'm a minimalist. Big windows w/ lots of light. A visitor can stay there.

I can show you around town on the weekends but if during the week, you may have to fly solo until the evening.

I can also invite you to where I do comedy open mics.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few. Wonder woman from Russia who I'm still in touch with. Two great French guys from France, that I'm still in touch with. I hosted all of them & one of the French guys hosted me years later.

Interests

I'm extremely diverse & eclectic. Music I listen to ranges from rock to classical to hip hop to 30s music to French/foreign songs (French was my 1st language). Parents are from Haiti, hence the French, though I was raised in NY.

I like biking, hiking, going on cruises & driving up the coast. I love exploring new cultures & places.

Things I do for fun are just as diverse. Driving up highways near the ocean, eating at restaurants on the water, traveling w/short notice for a weekend trip, discovering awesome hidden mom/pop shops, attending all kinds of concerts, quality plays. Bed & breakfast. Visiting the country/ranches. Cruises to a vacation spot, staying there a week or more & flying back.

I don't smoke & rarely drink but know how to have a good time. Especially when doing comedy on stage or going to other live music/comedy performances. I don't care for night clubs where you need to scream to be heard but know some nice upscale lounges in town.
